  1. The easiest way to install lynx is if you keep the structure of the files in
  2. this archive. The files should go under the unified file system of MiNT. If
  3. you, for instance, decide to put the files at c:\ you can add the following
  4. to your mint.cnf file:

  6. sln c:\usr\ u:\usr\
  7. sln c:\bin\ u:\bin\
  8.  
  9. setenv PATH u:\bin\
  10.  
  11. If you want to use lynx without a shell you should also add:
  12.  
  13. setenv TERM vt52
  14.  
  15. If you have MintNet correctly installed you should be able to use lynx on the
  16. web directly. You may have to edit the /usr/local/lib/lynx.cfg slightly,
  17. though. Lynx can also be used without MintNet to browse files on your own
  18. system.
